CrossFit Domo is a core strength and conditioning facility. Our programming is broad, general and inclusive. Our specialty is not specializing. At CrossFit Domo we offer constantly varied, functional movements which are executed at high intensity. By training the ten general physical skills in a constantly varied manor, you can expect to illicit the best physical fitness of your life. Whether it’s fighting on the streets of Afghanistan or a mother who is looking for better overall fitness, this program will work for you. Our needs vary by degree, not kind. The 80 year old grandmother should expect to perform the same movements as our military, however, the intensity may differ.
We have been involved in the fitness community for over 14 years. Starting in a typical globo gym, we learned to both appreciate as well as despise the fitness community. There are so many people aimlessly wondering around the gym wanting to make a change, but they really don’t know how. A little elliptical here, maybe a couple of curls there and an hour or so later most people really aren’t too sure what just happened. They feel as though they put in a valiant effort, but aren’t getting the results they are looking for.
Most of us honestly want to spend the least amount of time to get the best results possible, it is the way society has structured itself. We are all so busy with life that adding hours upon hours of fitness in our lives sometimes just gets in the way. This is why we have gone back to the basics. The garage gym of the past is quickly making its way into the present, and in a big way. CrossFit is a programming methodology that can be applied to anyones fitness goals. It is functional movement performed at high intensity to produce quick and useable results.
